Art is messy and surprising.

I moved to the middle of Spain. I couldn't bring all of my sculpture tools from the old Brooklyn Studio. So I started to paint and teach. I Spy Creativity is the phonetic meaning of the name and exactly that is what is found inside.

Creating Worlds

Character development and a love of sculpture is where it all started. From toy and action figure prototyping to creating my own stories, imagined worlds and characters is where my mind floats.

Full Circle

I love learning and have tried hundreds of art techniques. I share this love of learning in our classroom.

I have worked with Small wax sculpting, large plaster and bronze sculpting, any number of painting and drawing combinations, Jewelry making and paper marbling to name just a few. I´ve written stories and created characters, I use digital art tools and traditional ones, I am a maker!

My process is messy. It´s chaotic. However, beautiful things happen and it makes other people feel good too, so I continue.
