Laura Alich is an American artist living in Sant Quirze del Vallès, near Barcelona. Her artistic journey began in the world of toy sculpting and prototype modeling, where she developed a deep respect for skilled toy and character designers and the modelers who bring them to life. Over the years, she has worked with large-scale bronze sculptors and jewelry designers, experiences that continue to influence the tactile precision in her current work.

Since settling in Spain, Laura has focused primarily on painting, drawing inspiration from the olive trees and surreal Mediterranean landscapes that surround her. Her canvases often explore vivid, dreamlike worlds — colorful landscapes, birds, swimmers, and pools that merge serenity and imagination.

Illustration

Now, she is building a body of illustration to accompany the stories she has written, merging her narrative voice with her visual imagination. Her work moves easily between mediums, always exploring the relationship between art, craft, and play.
